I’ve heard our home described as ‘artistic, rustic, gorgeous, an ‘artists’ dream and weird’.
Never has this home been described as ‘usual’ or run of the mill.
The area is not for the person that seeks seclusion or to avoid seeing folks having fun. It is located in the Balneario La Fuente in Volcan. We are just a couple of blocks from town; a 10 minute walk through the park or a 2 minute car drive but you would think you were much farther out. The park is comprised of the small, spring fed lake, the large field across the street is where most weekends there is some kind of sport taking place from soccer to baseball. Across the lake is the Lasso Club. Sundays are Cowboy days. Out of the blue there will appear the most gorgeous horses and riders to compete in the lasso competitions. We are gardeners so the front circular driveway is packed with begonias, heliconia, ‘bird of paradise’, orchids and a wonderful huge Mango tree. The other side of the house also has a beautiful garden filled with blooming flowers and vines. The front porch is very large with an orchid covered wall.
If all this weren’t enough, the home is located on over 2.5 acres! We have built a stable for the horses but it could be used as the framework for another house.
At the top of the hill there are wonderful views of a tree farm on one side and an open field view on the other. It would make an unbelievable additional house site. You can even see Baru [Volcano] from up there….. not that I am advertising ‘Baru vistas’.
I have cleared a huge lot at the far end of the property that could be sold or developed by the purchaser.
